Skies of Many Colors
CanadianMatt Molloy is a photographer and musician who has recently seen his series entitled 'Photo Stacks' spread like wildfire online. In the ongoing 51-picture series, Molloy merges approximately 500 time-lapse photos (although it can range from 100-2000), stacking them using the 'lighten' blending mode in Photoshop. With his camera pointed upwards, the skies suddenly turn abstract, as if he has painted them with brush strokes. Below you will find a small selection of Molloy's 'photo stacks'.
